David's Two Month Update
- At his two month (9 week pediatric appointment) on 30 January 2018:
- Weight: 12lbs 9 ounces (54th percentile)
- Length: 23.3 inches (61st percentile)
- Head Circumference: 15.75 inches (75th percentile)
- Shots: DTaP, Hib, Polio, PCV13 and the Rota vaccine
- Still has dark blue eyes and golden brown, blondish hair. He has long, blonde eyelashes.
- Finally met his Daddy in person! David immediately smiled at Trevor and loves to be held him.
- Alert + makes strong eye contact.
- Smiles a lot, especially first thing in the morning!
- Still very easy-going, rarely fusses.
- Is beginning to fit into size 2 diapers. He's lengthy and although size 2 diapers fit him length-wise, they're a big around his abdomen.
- Has outgrown his 0-3month clothes while some 3-month onesies fit. He's now in 6-month sized sleepers. Still sleeps for long stretches at night.
- Bats at his mobile if we lower it down towards him.
- Tracks us as we walk from one side of the room to the other.
- Smacks his mobile when its dangled in front of him.
- His head lift/control is strengthening but he doesn't seem to love tummy-time as much as last month.
- No longer double-swaddling--now single swaddling with the Halo Swaddle Sleepsack.
- Baby acne has completely cleared up while remnants of his cradle cap still lingers. Has a small, white pimple-ish spot by his eye. Pediatrician says it will fade.
- Seems to love his infant car seat.
- Decrease # of BM/day.
