David's 5-Month Updates
- People watcher. Smiles at most anyone but is most reserved around strangers.
- Still clasps his hands together a lot. Still lets his hands loose while he nurses aka his wild hands.
- Loves looking at himself, mommy and daddy in the mirror.
- Bathtime lover.
- Likes to sit upright while supported and leans forward to grab toys.
- Pulls himself up into a seated position, although cannot sit unassisted yet.
- While standing with support, accepts entire weight with legs.
- Can reach out and grab toys by turning on his side.
- Has the sweetest coos and oohs & ahhs.
- Loves hearing "The Bear Necessities" sang to him.
- Will sometimes struggle to go down for a nap.
- Loves being talked to and will nod and smile in response. Most everything we do is hilarious to him somehow, haha.
- Is all about holding his feet. When laying on his back he'll reach both hands to play with his feet.
- Has discovered Momma's hair.
- Wiggly as ever during diaper changes. In between size 2 and size 3 at the moment.
- Ticklish around his collarbone and in his armpitties.
- Loves to laugh. He has the best belly laugh. Loves to play peek-a-boo!
- Use both hands to play with toys but seems to be left-hand dominant.
- Shows interest in his toys that make noise; quietly listens to his Einstein phone.
- Rolls over from back --> belly and from belly --> back, although he seems to enjoy flipping from onto his belly the most.
